We first heard about Rosie when we read about her in the No Kill Handbill:
ROSIE’S STORYWe had never fostered an adult cat before, but Rosie's story tugged at our heartstrings, so we invited this sweet girl into our home on May 14th. She was pretty traumatized by her time in the kill shelter-- and frankly not that thrilled with her new foster home (featuring a wild child foster kitten, a resident adult cat, plus many foster & resident dogs-- after all, this is a DOG RESCUE!!). She also has a limp we want to check out. None the less, we took the advice of the wonderful Cats' Angels pros and have let her come around in her own time. She now likes to sleep with us, and seeks us out during the day too. She is very gentle and loving... we know she would love her very own new Forever Family!-- but in the meantime we plan to treat her like the sweet princess she deserves to be. We also plan to take her to have her leg looked at.
We have a gorgeous, front de-clawed cat that would like to leave the shelter- yesterday!
Rosie in Pen SB-26 # a502913- and has been here since March 8th. Rosie is exhibiting some shelter stress now, if you can imagine. She’s been a shelter favorite, so we’d love to get her into a foster or permanent home soon. She likes petting, but just not here! This gorgeous, white domestic short-haired spayed female was owner surrendered due to “the lady’s son was mean to the cat”. She’s an extremely handsome cat, about 6 years old, weighing 12 pounds, with a calico tail and pretty facial markings. Her previous owner stated that Rosie is affectionate, playful, quiet and great with dogs and cats! You couldn’t ask for much more! Please consider Rosie for rescue! Please check out her picture; she’s very pretty! Rosie's deadline is Tuesday, May 13.
Rosie is feeling social enough to attend Meet & Greet events beginning this weekend. Please Email us if you would like to meet her or have any other questions about her.
