Rosie Needs Surgery!!

Last Wednesday we took Rosie to Animal Trustees of Austin to have her limp evaluated. Dr. Lewis took xrays and discovered that poor Rosie needs surgery! She has a painful bone fragment near her right knee, and that quite possibly is contributing to her limp. Dr. Lewis has recommended exploratory surgery to remove the fragment and see if anything else is wrong. Unfortunately, the surgery is going to be extremely expensive. We are absolutely committed to making sure Rosie has the surgery and the care she needs-- but we need some donations to help! Please click on her PayPal Paw if you can help us with Rosie's medical bills. She will have her surgery on Monday, June 23rd.

Rosie has been here for just over a month and she has settled in nicely. She loves to sit on my desk while I work, and she loves to rest on the couch on Jason's office as well. During the day she naps on the roof of the house of her new cat tower. She readily accepts our caresses now and seeks out our company most of the time. These days she is a great purrer and gives us many affectionate rubs. We are becoming big fans of CALICOS!
