Immediately after the surgery she was really out of it from the anesthesia-- completely disoriented and afraid and acting very nutty. But by morning she was allowing us to pet her and hold her and she was eating some food.

Rosie was devoted to her previous guardians for six years before she went to her next home-- where they dumped her in a kill shelter when they no longer felt like caring for her. Unfortunately, this poor girl was limping from some injury and freaked out by the shelter, and she sat there for over two months before some wonderful folks at the shelter saw the potential in this shelter-shocked doll. She is our first adult rescue cat but we know she is worth it!
