Today we took Rosie back to
ATA today for a follow-up appointment. Dr. Lewis was very happy with her progress so far. We learned that during the exploratory surgery they found a
luxating patella and bone spurs, all of which he repaired. Rosie should be feeling MUCH BETTER when she finishes her recovery time!!!! We will follow-up again next Monday for staple removal. In the meantime, we need to continue to confine Rosie so that we can restrict her movement and allow her body to heal. She has taken that very well, and she is being quite calm and affectionate with us.
